What do we do?

Pathways Counselling Service was established at Moortown Baptist church in 1999 to offer professional counselling service to local communities.

We are a Christian organisation offering counselling to anyone in need regardless of sex, age, ethnic origin, gender or disability. You may be of any faith or none. Counselling will only include faith if you request this.

We are a team of trained and supervised counsellors with a variety of different counselling approaches.

We offer an accepting, non- judgmental and confidential space where you will be supported to  work through your difficulties and problems.

Our experiences and knowledge include working with:

  •  Mental health issues
  •  Relationship issues
  •  Bereavement and loss
  • Childhood trauma
  • Abuse
  • Low self esteem
  • Stress and anxiety
  • Terminal illness
  • Depression
  • Addictions
  • Still birth
  • Eating disorder
  • Faith related issues.

We work according to the Association of Christian Counsellors code of Ethics and Practice.

It costs us £35 per hour to provide this service.  Click here to book an initial assessment.
