Pathways was established at Moortown Baptist church in 1999 by a group who were passionate about mental health and understood the importance of professional mental health support within the Christian community and beyond. Pathways started as a service first to local church leaders and their pastoral care teams to assist helping them and their parishioners when the support needed no longer fitted within the pastoral care bracket.
In 2022 Pathways proudly became a member project of Leeds Christian Community Trust, offering Pathways more resources to grow and develop whilst continuing to offer affordable professional counselling not just to individuals connected with the local churches but outside of the church and to organisations within the city of Leeds.
Pathways support is available to anyone over the age of 18 years regardless of sex, gender, ethnic origin or disability. You may be of any faith or none. Counselling will only include faith if you request this.
